Hi Bill, it means though that you can not watch a video in the slider because the slider only allows you to view it for a short time.

I have seen other themes where when you click on the video in a homepage slider you can then watch the video from start to finish. Is this something that can be written into the coding on this theme?

Hello again Bill,

I have managed to sort the widget problem by changing the template under the Events calendar options / settings.

However I don’t know how to make this page look better:

I would like the Title “Meditation with Gift of Presence” to be turquoise rather than grey.

Also on the right it is white text on white background.

Hello Bill,

I have experimented with The Events Calendar, however I did not like it.

When you view the event all the widgets on the page move from right side to below the event.

Also it is just all white text on black background and I don’t like the layout of the information.

I REALLY want to keep All-In-Calendar if I can.

I just need to change the color so that the text is in a white background box and change the color of the Event Widget box to white background.

Hi Bill,

I just set up a new post to show you and it is working okay now!

I had updated to this template from a previous template for this site and already had posts there. These were the ones where I was having trouble. I have deleted them.

It appears that when making a new post once the template has been changed then the video shows up fine.

I think that is what happened. Hope I explained it properly!

okay, now it’s getting a little freaky. There is no excerpt box underneath the main content box in the posts.

I have reverted back to the original code for archive.php page, but still nothing in any post pages under the main content box.

Am I going mad???

Regarding video, I have no trouble with the video widget, that works a treat. What I was referring to was the “Video Code Box” both in Pages and Posts (top right). It is this that does not work.
So I just post the code into the html section. However it would be nice to utilize this feature as it is written in the template.

I have managed to correct what I was querying. However I now have some new questions! 🙂

1) Because I now have white text it does not show in my widget boxes. How can I either change the color of text in widgets or else change the background color in widget boxes?
I do not want the Facebook box to change though.

2) I have tried to use the “Video Code Box” both in Pages and Posts but it does not appear to work. Any suggestions?

3) When I have Vimeo or YouTube videos, is there any way to change the color of the play button that appears in the center of the video? At the moment when you rollover it becomes red.

4) Is there a way to make the header text smaller and change it to turquoise color (from white)?

Apologies for all the questions. Will be very grateful for any help.
