Hi Bill,
thank you for your quick answer and no worries!
I will keep you updated if I manage to find a Blog-Post-Slider-Plugin that solves the problem.
Maybe I also just leave your “Previous”-Link as this also works pretty well (and it might be anyway nicer to view longer blog posts on a seperated site).Enjoy your weekend!
Franzi.Franzi KreisParticipantHello Bill,
thank’s for your answer!
The previous-link works pretty well, only problem: in the end I don’t want a link to the whole blog, but only to the previous post which should appear INSIDE the homeblock in order to allow my site-visitors to skip through all my blog-posts without leaving my home-block-page.
It would also make sense to display the posting-date like it is shown on the real blog-page.Is there a possibility to do this?
Thank you very much in advance!
Best,
FranziFranzi KreisParticipantHello Bill,
short information: I installed both plugins and it works out perfect now!
Thank you and all the best,
Franzi.Franzi KreisParticipantHi Bill,
it worked out with ‘chiemsee Reggae [2013]’ now – thank you and sorry for not checking before.
Great that you have a look at the thing with the iPhone-navigation-line.
Have a nice day,
Franzi.Franzi KreisParticipantHello Bill,
oh wow, thank you! It worked out with changing the text – the pictures are in the right place now. Thank you!
Only one problem left:
If I view the site with iphone 5 the iphone-navigation-line appears as soon as I try to klick on the “+” and the “+” is no more visible.
Another little thing: there is still one single homeblock left that doesn’t show up the “+” at all.
– I attached screenshots of both problems.Thank you very much!
All the best,

Franzi KreisParticipantHello Bill,
many thanks for the response.
Maybe my question wasn’t precise enough, sorry for that. I try to describe it better: the problem doesn’t appear in the galleries. Those work very well with touchscreens of mobile devices and also the pictures are shown in the right aspect-ratio.
If not viewed with a mobile device the arrows appear perfect and I also found the function for changing the navagation-delay.The described problem appears by viewing the homeblocks. My screenshots show single homeblocks viewed with the described devices: the “+” doesn’t appear on half of the blocks so that some of the galleries even can’t be opened.
I can understand that the image is always cropped a little bit depending on the aspect-ratio of the device, the problem is: the pictures aren’t cut a little bit, they are zoomed in that for example only a part of the persons face is visible instead of the whole person. Maybe you can compare my screenshots to my webpage to see the difference.Thank’s again and have a nice day,
FranziFranzi KreisParticipantHi Bill,
thank you very much for your precise response. It will take me until tomorrow until I have time to check if this works out – I will let you know as soon as I have tried.
All the best,
Franzi.Franzi KreisParticipantmagic! thank you so much! 🙂
Franzi KreisParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.Franzi KreisParticipantunfortunately no change at all by visiting the link.
should I try to install an English Version of WordPress? (Is that complicated?)Franzi
Franzi KreisParticipantHi Bill,
thank you for the response!
That sounds like a simple solution – only problem: I have no theme-options in my appearance-section of the dashboard.
I attached a screenshot, it’s in German, but maybe it helps.Kind regards from Franzi.
