Hi Bill,
Thanks for your help.
Since deactivating the Scripts To Footer and WP Super Minify plugins the Instagram widget is now back and working!
One problem solved!
Thanks for the contact/map code, I’ve added it and it works a treat! Thank You.
Second problem solved 🙂
However, since adding the code, a new problem has appeared. The MailChimp sign up form is not showing under the Map as before.
I’ve checked and the MailChimp code is still on the contact page. Does this code need to be placed somewhere else? Maybe in a widget?
Thanks,
ChristianRecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Thanks for the tip. I just had a look and did a search for my client’s font, but it wasn’t on there.
This theme is driving me insane. I just want to get the site finished.
The areas that are causing issues are the:
fonts
Google map, which is apparently being looked at by the plugin developer
The Instagram slider plugin, I’ve message the plugin support twice now, but haven’t heard back.
The header image, still waiting for a new design.
If you can help with the top three issues, please let me know how much it will cost.
Thanks,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantOkay, thanks for confirming.
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Please can you confirm or not if the logo dimensions of 300 x 200 pixels will work okay on mobile.
If the above logo dimensions are okay to use. Please can you also confirm or not if the header image dimensions below will work okay on mobile.
2000px wide by 386px high (with a 325px gap in the middle to allow for the logo to pop through).
Thanks,
Christan.RecipeSocialParticipantHi,
Thanks for letting me know.
That’s a bit cheeky as i’ve paid to upgrade the plugin so it’s responsive.
I’ll get onto them.
Thanks.
RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Reason I ask, I have a white space on the right hand side of the site. Please see the attached screen shot.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this to happen?
Thanks,

RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Ah, I was under the impression both one image containing the logo and two separate images, one logo and a graphics image could be used.
I’ll try uploading a separate logo again.
Thanks,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantOh that’s a pain. So when ever my client logs in, they’ll also see that an update is needed. This isn’t good.
Maybe there’s a gap in the market for a new plugin to address this exact issue. I’d definitely pay for a plugin that could solve this issue.
If the theme isn’t up-to-date, it’ll be more susceptible to hackers wont it?
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantOkay, I thought i was to do with the padding, thanks for confirming.
I’ll wait for the new logo to be sent and then have a play around with the spacing.
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Thanks for the code, much appreciated 🙂
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantHey Bill,
Thanks for your patience and perseverance.
I don’t know how you doing this coding malarkey, it drives me mad at times…
Thanks for cleaning up the contact/map area and for adding the shortcode feature.
I will take a look at this tomorrow now.
Thanks again for your help, it’s really appreciated. 🙂
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Apologies for that.
Code looks the same to me, pretty much…
I have created another Gist here: https://gist.github.com/3d4f8c021ddcd90b976f.git
Hopefully this is what you need.
Thanks,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
I’ve added the code to the layouts/home-contact.php all okay. But I think I’ve messed up the code in the page-contact.php and can’t undo what i’ve done, unfortunately.
I’ve attached a screen shot of what’s showing on the front end.
I pasted the code into GitHub
https://gist.github.com/006d307d3072cc51e446.git
Hopefully I done it right?
Let me know if you need anything else from me and thanks again for your all help.
Christian

RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Thanks for taking a look.
I think i’ve gotten myself in a right muddle here.
Is the layouts/home-contact.php the same as: moonrise/page-contact.php ?
I added the attached map code to moonrise/page-contact.php
I can’t find the code you mention above.
Help!
Thanks,

Thanks for the CSS, it’s worked a treat! 🙂
I’ve cleared the cache plugin now, all worked fine, thanks for the info.
Regards,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
I’ve just noticed when I logged out of the site, the header waves don’t display anymore.
What am I doing wrong?
Christian
RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
My client has now decided they only want to use the waves in the header and footer of your theme. I’ve added the following code:
#header {
background-image: url(http://yoursite.com/header.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center;
}#footer {
background-image: url(http://yoursite.com/header.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center;
}And amended the image URLs, however the header works but the footer image is not displaying for some reason. Am I missing something?
Also, how can I make more space between the top of the logo and the very top of the site?
I had a play around with this setting: Navigation Top Margin
but it didn’t seem to make any difference and I was sure if that was the right setting anyway.
I’ve checked the header on Safari and on my iPad but it doesn’t display at all.
Am I missing a piece of code?
Thanks,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantI was thinking PNG, but thanks for confirming 🙂
Cheers,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantOkay, thanks for the insight. I’ll get the designer to send over exact sized files. Do you recommend jpeg or .PNG for upload?
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantThanks for taking a look. I think I’ve figured it. I think the original file needs to be saved out of illustrator or whatever the designer designed it in at 300 x 200 as when I resize it messes up slightly.
Have you noticed this before when resizing logos that designer have sent you?
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
I tested out your code above on the seventh block but it didn’t really do what i’m after.
Ideally I think it would look much neater if the waves could be featured on each section as they are on the Events section, please see attached screen grab.
I’ve also attached a screengrab from section seven which was taken after I added your code. Please see second attachment.
I tweaked the following line of code: background-repeat: repeat-y;
To: background-repeat: repeat-n;
But it didn’t make any difference.
How can I make it so the image works on all sections as it does on the Event section?
Thanks,

RecipeSocialParticipantGreat, Thanks Bill. Much Appreciated 🙂
Christian.
RecipeSocialParticipantOkay gotcha. Just to be 100% sure, both will be 2000 pixels wide and 385 high right?
Thanks,
Christian.RecipeSocialParticipantHi Bill,
Thanks for your reply and for the code much appreciated.
Okay, so I’m absolutely clear. I presume i’m asking my designer to make up one new image, not two, is that right?
I’ll then enter the above code and add the image via the background image upload option on the theme settings, right?
Christian.
