Thanks Bill,
Your a saviour! We had not entered any values in the background section of the theme. As soon as we did as you instructed it all worked, menu is working great and the backgrounds also. Client is happy 🙂
Thanks for your help in this Bill,
Much appreciated.
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantHi bill,
We have upgraded to the new version of Foxy 2.0.4 but we still have a few issues:
1) the menu is still not working properly. As you can see on the site http://www.wearefab.co.uk, the menu is not contracting properly and the sub menus are invisible until you move the mouse over them…
2) the footer is aligned under the left hand column, is this by design?
3) the background image for the groups is not working either, we have assigned the background in the Staff-group but it is having no effect…
Any advice?
Thanks
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantHi Bill,
Thanks for this update on this.
We have upgrade the theme back to the current version and it is now working except for the menu issue and assigning a background to the Staff Groups. We changed the coding over to the new coding but still no joy.
We use Background per page for the other pages and that works fine but there seems to be some conflict somewhere.
If you could have a look http://www.wearefab.co.uk you will see what I mean about the menu issue.
cheltenhammediaParticipantHi Bill,
Since updating to version 2.0.3 of foxy the clients menu has started acting odd. The categories no longer expand and the sub-categories do not show until your mouse is over them…
I have chaged the coding to reflect the changes you mentioned on 11 July 2013 (above) but it is still not working:
aside.sidebar
changed to
div#sidebar
any advice?
cheltenhammediaParticipantThanks Bill, that explains alot. We have re-done the mobile menu so that it is now just single level.
Thanks for this. Have a great week bud.
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantCheers bill, it worked a dream.
many thanks once again.
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantScrub that Bill, we have fixed it, there was a conflict in the gallery. The coding works great now. Many thanks again

cheltenhammediaParticipantThanks for this Bill, I add ed the coding but no joy. Still no background on the blog. Here is what we now have in the custom-js.php
ID ), ‘single-post-thumbnail’ ); ?>

{image : ‘http://www.wearefab.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/news-background2.jpg’}Checked the source and in Firebug but it is just not showing up anywhere.
Any ideas?
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantMorning Bill,
Everything is now working fine on the site what with all the customisation done but we are still unable to assign a background to the NEWS* (blog) page. Do we need to add some coding to the custom-js.php like we did before (see above).
We have checked with Firebug and the background we assigned on the page (Background Per Page Plugin) is just not registering.
Any advice Bill?
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantAwesome Bill,
The ‘page per background’ plugin has a default background that you set for those pages that do not have a custom background and it was this that was causing the problem. We have removed it and it has sorted out the problem.
Many thanks for your help. It need a fresh pair of eyes.
Cheers

cheltenhammediaParticipantHi Bill,
Here is the website:

Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantMorning Bill,
Could you advise as to why when selecting various taxonomies (such as staff or menu) before the assigned background loads we are getting another pages background for a brief second, it is like a bleed over that then goes.
It really has us stumped, is this a result of the previous coding changes we made in August (above)?
Many thanks
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantOh boy, we totally overlooked that one! Thanks Bill, issue sorted out and client happy.
cheltenhammediaParticipantCheers Bill, you life savers, this worked a dream!
Many thanks
Anthony
cheltenhammediaParticipantAwesome Bill,
