writing tools

I am so sorry I have so many questions, but, I was trying to edit my pages and posts, and it seems like i don’t have editing tools in my version.. Is this normal? I can’t adjust the size, headings.. fonts.. when I post. Or when I try to format pages.
Good question. WordPress likes to hide some items by default to make things “cleaner.” In my opinion it just tends to confuse users. Some of those items will be in the “kitchen sink.” You can find it by editing a page/post. Make sure you’re using the visual editing tab. Then look at the right hand side of the toolbar above the main content box and there will be an icon that has two rectangles in it. If you’ll click on that, it’ll open up some additional tools.
Let me know if that doesn’t find the missing items for you,
