Web Fonts

I’m purchasing a set of fonts (Neue Haas Unica) for print purposes, and the vendor offers a deal if I add web fonts “using @font-face css”. Two questions:
1. Is this just like adding a line to the child theme (as I did when I changed para style to Verdana)?
2. Since most people don’t have this particular font on their computer, will their browser in most cases simply replace it with Helvetic etc., in which case it isn’t worth doing? Or does it embed itself somehow so that everyone gets the real thing?
Thanks for any answers!
Hi Michael,
Good questions. Since the vendor offers a @font-face option you can legally embed the font in your site. That will enable your visitors to see that font even if they do not have it installed on their computers. You could use a plugin called Use Any Font (https://wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/) to add it to your site.
If you have any questions, just let me know.
Take care,
Bill
Got it. Thanks very much, Bill.
Happy to help out Michael 🙂
