staff full bios

Hi Bill, I’m setting up another sit for a non-profit and recommended FOundation again. How can I have full bios on this page ? I’d asked this question about the Progress theme in the past but your answer didn’t apply to the Foundation theme.

Also, there are outside links on the staff bios that show up when you click “read more”. Can I have it so that they show up just on the staff page itself ?

Hello Katie,

You can change the staff page so the full content is displayed. That will also bring in any extra markup like links and images too. Here’s what to do:

1. Go to the Appearance section in your WordPress dashboard and choose Edit.
2. From the list of files on your right, choose staff-entry.php
3. Look for this line:

   <?php the_content_limit(240, "Read More"); ?>
   

   and change it to this:

   
   <?php the_content(); ?>
   

4. Save your changes.

That should give you the full content on the listing page. If you run into trouble, let me know.
