Small Area Under First Hero Section

There is a small section under the first hero section of the demo page that says “Together we’ve raised…” and has a background image and a button to learn more. How do I create a similar quote section on my home page and also, the same with the section right above the bottom and the sponsors that says “grassroots…”.

Hi Benjamin,

Great question there. That spot in the demo is made by using a “Attention Widget” in one of the home page widget sections. It gives you a spot for some text and a button that links to a URL you choose.

The background is added in the theme options page. Each section of the home page can have a different background. In the one that contains the attention widget, I added a background image and set it to “cover” for the size. That will make sure that the background image always fills the available space.
