    When I view posts by author and category, the color block for the page title reverts to red, not blue, the color I selected.

    Good Morning Robyn,

    Thank you for your business first of all. Sorry for the trouble there. You can change the colors of those title links. Go to the Appearance section in your WordPress control panel and select Customize. Look for the Titles section. These are the ones you’ll want to change:

    1. Page Title Link Color
    2. Page Title Link Color Hover
    3. Page Title Link Background Color
    4. Page Title Link Background Color Hover

    Those four will adjust the titles of your posts in the blog and archives like your author, date or categories. Since they are links to the individual posts, we have options for the default state of the text and background and also for the hover.
