2012 My Blog Organized Themes

Hi Bill,
Your advise and instructions make it real easy to follow. I have a question about the little note at the bottom of my page: “2012 My Blog Organized Themes” is there a way to remove this so it does not appear on my website? Thanks
I’m glad you’ve found the forum useful.
You can remove the footer text. Here’s how:
- Go to the Appearance section of your WordPress control panel and select edit to open up the theme editor.
- From the list of files on your right, choose footer.php and look for this spot:
<footer>
<p><a href=”<?php echo home_url(); ? rel=”nofollow”>/”>© <?php echo date(‘Y’); ?> <?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?></a><br /><a href=”http://www.organizedthemes.com”>Organized Themes</a></p>
</footer>
- And delete it.
- Save your changes.
That should remove the footer text from the theme. If you’d rather say something specific there, just put your own text between the <p> and </p> instead of what’s there.
Let me know if you have any trouble or questions.
Enjoy your weekend,
Bill
