Is it possible to have two post pages?
Right now my post page is http://www.levittownchristian.com/matts-blog/. It works great. However, for the next two weeks leading up to Easter, we wanted to create a page where people could anonymously post confessions. I’m using the AccessPress Anonymous Post plug-in to do this. Problem is, it works like a blog too–people post their confession and then it wants to populate http://www.levittownchristian.com/matts-blog/. Obviously we want to keep the pastor blog and the confessions separate. Is it possible to have two posts pages?
Thanks so much.
Hi Jennifer,
Here’s one way you could go about that. Have the new confession posts added to a separate category. Add that category directly to your navigation menu so it’ll be accessible to your visitors.
Then use a plugin like Simply Exclude (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simply-exclude/) to remove that category from your main blog. If the plugin works as advertised, it should take posts assigned to that category out of your main blog archives.
If you run into trouble, let me know.
Have a great weekend,
Bill
