    Awesome it worked. The only thing is that it at first didn’t show up and then I figured it out, you have to go back to the podcast page and check/enable comments for the page (that option didn’t show up before). Now it all seems to be working! Thanks!

    There is an online site that does this (Takethemameal.com) but I would like to set something simpler up on our site and keep it more in-house.

    Sorry to bother you. I spent 2 hours fighting with this before going home. Finally sent you previous email. Now at home on my laptop things seem to be working. One problem is we were not directing podcast to actual .mp3 file. Second issue, for whatever reason the podcast stuff doesn’t seem to work with internet explorer 9. I am using a vista home premium OS and I can’t upgrade ie9 any further (that I know of). My laptop uses ie11 and things seem to work. The google chrome issue is still a bit mysterious but now it is even working on chrome (even at my office computer).

    I am having the same problem. Our audio podcasts won’t play in internet explorer but they play fine in google chrome. Everything was working fine a week ago and then all of a sudden this week they stoppe playing. Any ideas???

    How do I clear the cache then? That might be the other problem with the web site showing up one way when you type in http://www.lifespringcommunitychurch.net and another way when you type in http://www.lifescc.net (this being the way the site looked before we started making this last round of updates).

    Here is the code that was already in the custom css box:

    #content,
    blockquote p {
    color: #3a382e;
    }

    .ie8 #content,
    .ie8 .staff-list article,
    .staff-list article,
    #content {
    background: none;
    filter: none;
    }

    I inserted the text as you suggested – there was no change in the background.
    I then cleared the WP Supercache and reloaded the page in my browser, still no change.
    You had previously given me some code to enter in the custome CSS box, I deleted that, cleared cache, still no change.

    Another question. When we view our page on Google our content is shrunk considerably making it very hard to read. Is there a solution to that?

    Just getting back to this again.
    What we want is to actually have the content background transparent so that the colors of our background will come through. We want to set it to a shade of black so that it has a shadow effect but still lets you see the colors under the content. Right now it is a greyish solid color and we want to shift it to semi-transparent color. Is that possible?

    I got the home navigation link to work (I had to reset it in the menus).

    Instead of the content background being transparent, can I make it opaque or faded so you can see the content area but see the colored background through it?

    Liking the changes so far and the extra options the new release gives us.

    Thanks!

    I am working to just rebuild the site because I like some of the new features.

    The home menu in the navigation I can not get to work. When I click it, it goes to http://www.lifespringchurch.net/newwordpress/ which doesn’t exist. How do I get it to point back to the real homepage?

    Also, we have a parked domain and I get two different sites when I use the two different URL’s – is that due to the WP super Cache? I did turn it off but it still goes to two different sites.

    Last, is there a way to make the content background to transparent?

    Wow, one more goofy thing, we are set up with our web host that we have a dummy url that bounces to our main url but for some reason the two url’s are now going to different content.

    Also, our navigation bar has disappeared on all but the home page.

    It is as if a new site is taking over our old site slow but sure.

    Also, our home page has now disappeared and it only says “Sorry, no posts match your criteria”

    I thought that might be it and it still would not work using “custom feed”. I just now finally got it to work. I found your post from 2012 on editing the podcast-feed-page.php and changing out the original code and replacing it with <itunes:category text=”Religion & Spirituality”> that you suggested and IT WORKS so far!

    Now another question, can I update to version 2.0 without it messing up our whole site?
