Thanks for the tip Bill. I tried and it brought up the double scroll bar, which I try to avoid.
HOWEVER, I realized that Elite has this functionality out-of-the-box, so i think I will just use that! My site is basic enough to replicate it pretty fast.
Slicknav works so well in production! Thanks for the suggestion!
It worked! Thanks for the outstanding service!
Nice! Such a quick and simple fix. Thanks Bill.
Genius! Thanks 🙂
Brilliant! I really like the alternative css-based solution. Thanks for thinking of that Bill.
Nice! Much better. Thanks.
Worked like a charm! Thanks a lot Bill!
Ah great idea regarding the navigation! It worked of course.
Regarding the page-slide javascript, I read through the documentation and agree that there is no variable that can be manipulated to display the sidebar by default. Rather than change the javascript via FTP, do you think there is additional javascript I could put in the footer to load the sidebar? I couldn’t quite figure out what that would be. I have a hunch it has something to do with line 132.
No pressure of course. This is probably above the call of duty as this is not your code per say. Thanks!
Bingo! Nice. Thank you.
Worked like a charm. Looks great! Thanks. Happy New Year!
Beautiful solution. Thank you!
Hi Bill, I too intend to do exactly as you suggest and use the gallery as a grid with custom links. However, the elite gallery is not responsive. And all responsive gallery plugins seem to eradicate the caption which I really need to be visible. Any suggestions?
It worked beautifully. Thanks!
Excellent! It worked.
That worked! I had to match the new stylesheet, FTP the new supersize file and then change the file name under theme functions. Whew.
I saw that you actually updated the template to fix this within the past couple of hours. So… I decided to copy the source code for the custom js. I even recopied all the files from the /* @group Supersized */ in my stylesheet:
Here is a link for reference. http://www.meltgrill.com
Notice that when you drag the corner of the window to make it smaller, then redrag to make it bigger the image does not fill the whole window.
Thanks again!
Alison, I am the “man” you refer to in your comment. I see that Bill hasn’t gotten back to yet so here is my solution (that I came up with today) for pages other than menu. I will use your Store Pages as an example. Bill may have an easier solution but this should do the trick if done step for step.
1. Foxy has two page templates “blank” and “default.” You need to create a third page template.
2. To do this, go to your hosting account (I use Godaddy) and launch the FTP manager.
3. Create a file called page-store.php. Paste this text into it:
&after=
‘); ?>
4. Inside WordPress, go to functions.php and add
‘store’ => __( ‘Store Navigation’, ‘organizedthemes’ ),
5. Go to appearance>menus and then create a custom menu. Violla!
It worked. Thanks!
You’re the man. Worked perfectly.
Let me clarify that it’s only links in the body, not in the navigation.
The color worked. Thanks. However, I am in the testing phase and the secondary navigation menu you suggested seems to be working on desktop and windows phone, but not on iPhone.
When I implemented this, it worked. Quick style question….
How can I get the link to the current navigation link only to display a different color?
For example if I am on the lunch menu, how do I make “lunch” orange but Dinner Desserts and Cocktails white?
Never mind. It was a simple adjustment of bottom padding on the stylesheet. This theme is extraordinary and the support is outstanding. Thank you!
Perfect! Look’s awesome. One more small thing:
How can I add some more space between lines of text on my site?
Specifically I am working on: http://nickdimitriostestsite.com/?menu-group=lunch
BUT I would like the whole site body copy to have a little more space between text lines.
