It works great in safari but terrible in firefox.

I found the problem in firefox.

I tried that and it may be a bit better but I just noticed something. If I move the cursor just on the bottom edge of the menu items they change color and I can click them just fine but if I move the cursor to the middle where the the text is then it gets unresponsive.

I have the website hosted now and the menu links are still a little dysfunctional at times. I am using Firefox. BTW, this is only a preliminary version of the site so it is a little raw yet.

Gravatar has a new image but it is not reflected on this profile. I have the standard issue Foundation btw… no additional plugins added.
