    Hi Bill
    You previously helped me insert a sign up form into the welcome widget, thanks for that.

    Is it possible to adjust the width of the welcome widget to full width
    OR
    alternatively, can I put a signup short code into a connect box?

    Let me ask a follow up question. Are you just wanting to have a full width background image with your sign up on top of it?

    If that’s the case, you can do that. It looks like you’re running version 1.2.2 of the theme. In 1.2.0 we added ten new widget areas for the home page. Each one of these can have a full width background (like our Elite and Grassroots themes do).

    What you could do is add a widget to one of these new areas and then use the customizer to set the background image for that widget area.

    That’s how I would go about it. If you have something else in mind, let me know.
