    Hi Bill!

    This may sound silly, but I’m trying to add a video into my post – not the feature video- but all what I get is the link no matter what I do, I have tried the short code and also the code provided by vimeo. My post also contains a photo gallery, what could be the problem?

    The feature video works fine.

    Good Afternoon Ale,

    Have you tried letting WordPress create the embed for you? With Vimeo and YouTube you can typically just enter the URL to your video on it’s own line and WordPress will convert the URL into the video on the front end of your site. It’s called oEmbed and it works with those services, plus Twitter, Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram and a few other ones too.

    If it still gives you trouble, let me know and if you can send over a link to where you’re working with it so I can take a look for you.
