    I put a video hero image on my computer. Is there a way to have it play on mobile devices?

    Good question. Mobile devices don’t support background videos. They do that to save on bandwidth for customers and also because they need to conserve memory too.

    Make sure to keep a featured image there. On smaller screens it’ll be displayed instead of the video. People often take a screenshot of the video and use it instead of the video itself.

    Would mobile devices play a youtube video? and if I used a youtube video is there a way to get rid of the ads at the bottom on it?

    Mobile devices won’t play any background videos. The ones I’ve tried using in the hero area from YouTube haven’t had ads there or any of the other player chrome. That could depend on the video though and how the owner has set it up though.
