Video on Home Page

Hi Bill!

I hope all is well! One more question popped up- I have a video on my home page in section 1. It is inserted into “Home Section One” as a “Home Block – Page Content” widget. I want the video to resize automatically. Is there any way to do this?

Aaron,

Good question. There is a shortcode that’s built into the theme that you can use to do that. In the line above your video enter this:

and on the line after your video, paste this:

Update your page and that should let the video be responsive.

Thanks Bill. That unfortunately did not make the video responsive. Is there anything else you could recommend?

Looking at your home page it appears that something is interfering with the shortcode’s output. All it really does is add in a bit of HTML which you can add in directly inside the text editor. To do that, edit your page again. This time click the text tab that’s at the top right of the main content box.

Just above the embed code for your video paste this:

and right after your video paste this:

Update your page and see if that won’t do it for you.
