Turn Off Video Loop Manually

Hello, Bill!

Is there manual code I could insert to turn off the video loop on my home page (Grassroots theme)? I have a total of three hero videos on my site. I only want to turn off the loop on my home page hero video (the “Disable Video Loop” is checked for home page, but does not work for some reason.

Hey Mike,

That is unusual as I would expect the checkbox to disable the looping video to work there too. Would it be possible for you to send over the URL to the page where you can’t disable the loop so I can take a closer look for you?

Hello Michael,

I believe I may have spotted the trouble. Let’s do this:

1. Go to the Appearance section in your WordPress dashboard and choose Edit.
2. From the list of files on your right, choose hero-options.php
3. Replace all the content of the file with this:

   
   (Be sue to copy that code directly from the support site and not the notification email).

4. Save your changes.

See if that doesn’t allow to turn off the loop on the home page. Let me know if you have any trouble.
