Tab "Social Media" in Theme Options

Hi,
I like to add a new social media entry like Xing to this Social media tab so I can display these social media icon on the website.
On which way I can do this?
Where can I find / store the icons?
Where can I name the social media in the Social Media Tab in the theme options?

Olaf,

You can add in additional social networks with a bit of editing. Here’s what you’ll want to do:

1. First find an icon for the social network you’d like to use. You’ll probably want to make it rather small; about 22 pixels square.
2. Next go to the Media section in your WordPress dashboard and select Add New.
3. Upload your icon. Once the process is finished, click on the edit link. On the screen that opens up, on the right hand side you’ll see a field for the file URL. You’ll need that URL in just a minute.
4. Then go to the Appearance section in your WordPress control panel and select Edit.
5. From the list of files on your right, choose header-links.php
6. Scroll down to the bottom and right above this:

   
   </ul><!-- #header-links -->
   

   and this code:

   
   (be sure to copy that code directly from the support site and not the notification email)

7. Replace the http://yourlink.com with the URL to your profile on the selected network and the http://yoursite.com/image.png with the URL to the icon you uploaded earlier.
8. Save your changes.

You can repeat that for any additional networks that you’d like to add.
