Staff Page Picture Size

Hi Charles,

I just added this staff member but his feature picture is huge.

I’d like it positioned on the left just like this page here:

Also, is there a way to make these pictures on the staff page the same size?

Good Morning,

I took a look at your staff pages just now. Generally the individual staff pages have a maximum image size of 405 pixels wide by 525 pixels tall. Is there any chance that the image sizes have been edited in the theme? Or was James Young’s image uploaded either before the theme was active or at a time when it wasn’t. The image sizes are set by the theme but don’t affect images uploaded when the theme isn’t active or before the theme was installed.

One thing you could do is run a plugin called Regenerate thumbnails. It adds a new screen in the tools menu that will resize all the images in your media library. That’s one possibility.

The best way to keep image sizes consistent is to upload images that are the same size. For the staff images, the suggested size is 405 pixels wide by 525 pixels tall. That’ll give you images that should be the same size across your staff.
