    Hi Bill, sorry mate but I have been through the videos and instructions for 2 days now and cannot get my slideshow or in my case I just want a static slide to show up on my homepage above the 5 featured posts, so under the header. We have customised my homepage background so Im wondering if thats anything to do with it, I know it shouldnt.

    Please help…

    Paul,

    Sorry for the trouble. I set your theme so that it would display the most recent “slide” on the home page. With only one slide it shouldn’t transition which will make it appear static for you. The “slides” section only appears on the home page template. The other pages can use a featured image, video or gallery there just depending on the “format” that is selected. The gallery pulls all the images that have been uploaded on that page/post and displays them at the top.
