Hi Bill,
Is there a preferred image size/type for the Slide Show on the Foundation theme. It works just fine but pauses on some photos. You can see for yourself here.

The slideshow is set to use images that are 630 pixels wide by 420 pixels tall. WordPress will size image down to fit, but not make a smaller image larger to fit. Also the built in cropping can sometimes be a bit odd. If at all possible, I’d try resizing the images to be 630 by 420 so you have ultimate control over how they look.
WordPress does have the ability to do some light image editing inside the media library if you need tools to do that with.
