Slicknav Menu Change

I want the button on the homepage to read “Menus” not “Navigation.”

This isn’t my area of expertise, but from what I can tell the menu is Java, so the only way to change the word “Navigation” would be to change the .js file… and I haven’t a prayer of doing that.

Is there another way to change the word “Navigation” to read “Menus”? Or, would you be able to supply me with a slicknav.js file that I can upload and overwrite the original to implement this change?

Or, maybe I’m just waaaaaay off.

Hello Daniel,

Great question. You can change the label there and thankfully without having to edit any javascript.

In your WordPress dashboard, click on Appearance and then choose Theme Options. Click on the “Header” tab and scroll to the bottom. You’ll see a field there labeled “Mobile Navigation Label” where you can enter the text you’d like to display there. Save your options and that should do it.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, however I have run into an issue with that.

As you can see in the image below, I do not have a header tab within the Theme Options. Any suggestions?

Yikes! Sorry I was thinking of the Elite theme. Try in the navigation tab.
