    Hi,
    We are using the Bottega theme and it is really slow. I have optimized all the images in there, but it just moves extremely slow. Hosted on Godaddy. Any ideas?

    Rachelle,

    Great question. I would suggest using a plugin like WP Super Cache to speed up your site. It will compress your pages and also cache the pages that WordPress generates so they aren’t created on every page load. I run it on my site where it’s made the load time much quicker.

    I’d give it a try and see if that doesn’t help you reduce your time. When I tested it with Pingdom Tools, it returned a time of 3.6 seconds. I bet you could get that down to 2.5 or so.
