    Hi Bill –
    I have what is probably an easy/silly question – I’ve got a News + Events page set as my “posts” page, and I have it set w/ Left content/Right Sidebar in the “Edit Page” page…but I cannot figure out how to get the right sidebar to display anything (or I guess, the step before that…how to add content to the right sidebar)?
    Many thanks for your assistance!

    Good Morning Krystyna,

    I hope you had a great weekend. Excellent question. You can add content to your sidebar by going to the Appearance section in your WordPress dashboard and choosing “Widgets.” The available widgets will be listed on your left and the widget areas will be on your right.

    The widget area you want to use will be called the “Default Sidebar.” Add your widgets there and they should appear on your pages/posts.

    If you run into trouble, let me know.

    Have a great week,
    Bill

    Awesome! Got it.
    Is there any way to make the sidebar wider?
    Thanks so much,
    KS

    You can do that. Give this a try:

    1. Go to your theme options page and choose the Advanced tab.
    2. Scroll down to the Custom CSS box and add this:

      @media only screen and (min-width: 1201px) {

      	#content {
      		width: 770px;
      	}

      	#sidebar {
      		width: 370px;
      	}

      }

      @media only screen and (min-width: 1024px) and (max-width: 1200px) {

      	#sidebar {
      		width: 340px;
      	}

      }

    3. Update your settings.

    Let me know if you have any trouble making it wider.
