Would i be possible to have another “page” that operated like HOME. where it is less of a “post” and more of widgets stacked on top of each other?
Hi Zac,
One way you can do that is with one of the plugins that lets you specify where certain widgets are visible. JP Widget Visibility (https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack-widget-visibility/) is one plugin that will let you do that. You can set some of the widgets in the first home page widget area to show up on the home page and others to show up on the new page.
Another plugin is Page Builder by SiteOrigin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/). I’ve been building in support for this plugin in our last three themes and have found it to be a great solution. It lets you build pages in rows like the home page of Kerygma using widgets. But instead of limiting that to the home page, you can use it on any page. The styling is also contained on that page making it easier to set up multiple pages that way. Kerygma isn’t set up specifically for it, but it might work.
