    Hi Bill,

    Hope you’re well!

    I have a piece of rogue html text “<\/body>”showing bottom left of the website I’m currently working on.

    I’ve checked all my pages and can’t work out where it’s coming from.

    Would really appreciate your thoughts please?

    Hello Leanne,

    It looks like the closing body tag in the footer is off with that slash in it. Let’s try editing the footer and see if we can remove it manually.

    1. Go to the Appearance section in your WordPress dashboard and choose Edit.
    2. From the list of files on your right, choose footer.php
    3. Replace everything there with this:

    4. Save your changes.

    See if that doesn’t do the trick. If it doesn’t, let me know.
