    Hi Bill,

    Is it possible to remove the podcast slug from the permalink, so that the podcast name is (for example) salenaknight.com/1 (for episode one), not salenaknight.com/podcast/1

    Good Morning Salena,

    Excellent question. There is a post at http://www.markwarddesign.com/2014/02/remove-custom-post-type-slug-permalink/ that says it has a method to remove the slug from a custom post type URL. I haven’t tested it out, but it would be a good place to start.

    Make sure to re-save your permalinks after you make the change or you’ll probably turn up a not found error.
