I need to add several pictures throughout a body of text. How can I get the text to wrap around the picture? Also, when I click on the picture once to show the alignment options I am unable to move the picture using my mouse when I have included a caption. No caption, no problem. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thanks!

    Hi Debbie,

You can have text wrap around an image. What you’ll want to do is have the image either left or right aligned with an image size that is small enough that there is room for the text to wrap by it. There is a center align option, but it doesn’t work as well as the other two. That’s why you seldom see images in the middle of text like that.

I’m not 100% certain I’m following about changing the alignment. Are you saying you’re unable to click on the alignment icons in the pop up toolbar above the image? I just gave that a test on my development server and it seemed to work as expected there. If you can’t click on the icons the first thing I would try is this. Disable all plugins — ever one of them. Then edit your page and refresh the editor page. Then try clicking on the icons again. If it works, turn the plugins on, one by one until it stops working. That’ll let us know where the conflict is.

Let me know what you turn up there,
    Bill
