    I have created a site with a static front page and set the “posts” page in Settings>Reading to my ‘Blog’ page.

    The Blog page loads all of my posts without a problem. The problem lies it will not load the Post Sidebar… instead it loads the Default Sidebar.

    I have added items to the Post Sidebar but it still displays the Default Sidebar.

    Hello Brandon,

    Sorry for the trouble there. The post sidebar is only visible on individual posts. The default sidebar is the one that will be displayed both on your main blog page and also on category/date/tag/author archives.

    If you need to segment out widgets so that they’re only visible in the blog, you could use a plugin like JP Widget Visibility (https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack-widget-visibility/) that let’s you specify where exactly a widget will be visible.
