Hello, I’d like to put just a plain donation button (as attached) in the Home Top widget area. I’ve uploaded the button to the media library (http://url-etc/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/donate_blue.png) , and I have the redirect (https://etc.etc.) from the donation company we’re using. But I’m not sure how to turn this into a widget that doesn’t have any text or title — just the button itself. Can you help? Thanks much!

    Michael,

Excellent question. You might consider using the BlackStudio TinyMCE plugin. It adds a “visual editor” widget that gives you the editor from the page/post screen to use in any widget area.

You could then use the “Add Media” button that’s above the content box to insert the button and assign any link you want to it. If you leave the title field empty, it’ll skip the title too. That would be the most straightforward way to add in the donate button to a widget.

If you run into trouble, let me know.

Glad to hear that did the trick. Have a great weekend 🙂
