Picture on main page

Hi

I tried uploading a picture to appear in the main home page, but it doesn’t work, can you show me how to please? Im not sure what im doing wrong.

And also I would like to have some text on the bottom right corner of the picture, as this will not be a slide , it will only be a single picture, how do I do that?

Hello Angela,

Great question. In order to use the layout from the demo, you first have to create a home page. If you’ll look at the top of the theme instructions (https://support.organizedthemes.com/progress/) they’ll show you how to create your home page.

From there, the images in the slideshow are made by going to the Media section and selecting slides. Here’s a quick video to show you how that works:

Each image in the slideshow is a separate slide. The featured image is the image that will be visible. The caption is the text that will appear on top of the slide (if it’s entered).

That should let you add in an image on your home page in the slideshow. The rest of the home page content is made up of widgets. You can add those by going to the Appearance section and selecting Widgets.
