Hi these three photos look great on my computer but when viewed on Ipad, iphone or even my wife’s windows desktop they are not showing up correctly. Any ideas please?

    Thanks, Tony

    Hi Tony,

It looks like those are background images that are set to “cover.” What that means is the image will always cover the invisible “box” that it is located inside of.

The box is set to be 1/3 of the width so as the screen size changes, the size of the box will change also. In order to have the image cover the area completely without skewing, some of the image will be cropped. That’s what is happening here.

If you’d like to have the image always visible, I would insert the image into the content area of a widget instead of setting it as a background image. That way it will resize naturally as screen size gets smaller and won’t crop. Just make sure the images are all sized the same size and it end up looking the same on desktops.

    Take care,
    Bill
