Open a Menu Item into a New Window/Tab

How to open my menu/link into a blank window/tab? where i can change it. I’m working in a Foundation Theme, and one of my menu item needs to be opened in another new window so that visitors wont lost from the homepage. thanks a lot.
Good question. WordPress has this ability built-in, but it’s hidden by default. Here’s how to find it.
In your navigation builder (appearance>menu), click on screen options in the top right hand corner. Make sure the box beside “Link Targe” is selected.
The click on the menu item you’d like to open in a new window. Select the box next to “Open link in a new window/tab” and then save your menu.
