not able to place widgets on home page

Hello Bill,

Hope everything is going well.

Have a question about home page widgets:

I am using slider on the home page and and don’t have it set on hero mode just standard. Page template is at default. When I try to place any widget under slider it wont work for me.

Could you please guide me in the right direction ?

Hey Denis,

Good question. To use the home page widget blocks, you’ll have to use the home page template. That’s where the widgets are made to load. Once you switch to the home template, you should be able to see them.

You can add back in the slider to your home page, by using the Home Block — Page Content widget and selecting your home page as the source of the content for that widget.
