    I must be overlooking a setting some place.

    I have created sample posts and slide posts for the front page. Neither are showing up.

    What is showing up is a basic blog page.

    So, I’m figuring I’m overlooking a setting some place.

    Good question. Have you created a home page for your site yet? There are instructions at https://support.organizedthemes.com/default-home-page/ that can walk you through how to do that. If you have any trouble, or that’s not it, let me know.
