Navigation/Menu titles not pages with text

How do you make the navigation titles NOT have a page associated with them. I want the first page of the dropdown menu, for example, to be the actual page and not the navigation title to be a page with info on it.
You can create a placeholder in the navigation. Here’s how.
1. In the navigation builder (Appearance > Menu) click in the top right hand corner where it says “Screen Options” and make sure the boxy by “Custom Links” is checked.
2. Create a custom link with the URL set to #. Delete out the http:// that’s there by default.
3. Enter the Label you’d like to have in the navigation.
4. Add it to your navigation.
5. Save your placeholder in the desired location.That’s it. Let me know if you have any questions.
