Missing logo and WordPress ecommerce themes

Issue 1: We have had a image chosen rather than dynamic text chosen for our header so that our logo appears in the same place on every page. It has disappeared.

Issue 2: While trying to work with the ReadyeCommerce plugin that I was going to use to create a new store, I uploaded one of their free ecommerce themes and activated it, not realizing that it would replace the Agency them that was activated. I thought it could only be used for the store pages. Now I can’t get into or see my site at all. I do have my site backed up with Xcloner, but unless I can get to it, that’s a mute point. Can you help me out of this?

Let’s tackle question two first. You can manually turn off a WordPress theme. First open up your FTP program if you use one. If you don’t, go to your web host’s control panel and select the file browser.

Navigate to the wp-content/themes folder. Change the name of the current themes folder. That should deactivate the theme and let you back in.

Once you’ve switched themes, try selecting to use an image logo again and update your settings. If you still don’t see your uploaded logo let me know.

A thunderstorm knocked out my Internet access this afternoon, so I’m a bit limited in troubleshooting until tomorrow since I only have my phone.
