    Hi Bill,

    My Media section is quite extensive. Simply filing by date isn’t making searching for images easy (too many images). Is there a way to organize the media items into albums? Is there a recommended Plugins if not? Can you recommend anything?

    Hi Vanessa,

    Great question. You might take a look at Media Library Categories (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-media-library-categories/). It allows you to assign your media files to categories that you create. It also adds a drop-down at the top of your media library allowing you to only view the files in that category.

    I haven’t used the plugin before, but it’s widely used and would appear to be a good solution for this situation. If you do give it a try, let me know how it works for you so I’ll know if it’s good to recommend or not.
