I just updated our them to the 1.6 from 1.5. Now the menus are all dropping down and not functioning. How best to proceed?
Here’s a summary of the pluggins we are running.

I took a look at your site just now. It appears that the drop-downs are working and that you’re running version 1.1.6 of the theme. The 1.1.7 version that came out on the 6th does replace the original menu system (which was abandoned by its developer) with one that runs on the superfish menu system. It’s a long standing and widely used menu script.
If you had trouble with version 1.1.7 and have rolled back to 1.1.6, you’re welcome to just stay there. There’s no security issues or anything like that that were changed in 1.1.7 that would cause you to have to update. If you like things as they have been, you’re ok to stay there.
If you had trouble going from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6, then I would try going on to 1.1.7. I had several users who had odd bugs with the original menu which is why it was replaced. If you want to go with 1.1.7, go on and make the update and let me know and I’ll take a look to see if I can spot the conflict that’s giving you trouble there.
Take care,
