Hi
I would like to have a single image in the Header section (identified by using the Featured Image option) and then some content in the section below.
I have created a page as an example:
http://www.seedlight.org/?page_id=72Unfortunately, after loading the page, the main content seems to be pushed up the page so that it overlaps the Header image.
I realise that the Image format probably isn’t designed to contain more than a single image but the Standard format doesn’t display any image in the Header and the Gallery format shows all of the images, including those in the gallery that I have added.
Any suggestions for a solution or fix?

Thanks

Thank you for your business and sorry for the trouble. I do have one change that may help out with the content moving up. Go to the Appearance section and select Edit. From the list of files on your right, choose media-default.php. Delete everything in that file and replace it with this:
and save your changes.
That should keep your content from sliding up. If you have any trouble with it, let me know.
There is also a way around having the same images in your gallery format slideshow as the page or post has in it’s content. Only images uploaded while editing that page/post will be displayed in the slideshow. So any images you’d like to have just in the main content area, upload those by going to Media and selecting Add New. You can still insert them into your page/post or even use them as a featured image, but they won’t appear in the slideshow.
WordPress 3.6 is going to have some vast improvements to the post format interface and you’ll finally be able to easily select the images that go into the slideshow.
If I can help, just let me know.
Thanks,

That’s terrific. Thank you very much for taking the time to offer a solution. Those pages look great now and we appreciate your support.
Cheers!

Thanks,

We’d be delighted and honoured to be included in your showcase. Thank you for asking. We have a bit more work to do on the site but it should be ready by the end of the week.
I’ve just noticed that our blog page (http://www.seedlight.org/blog/) is showing the same behaviour as the Image format pages. Would you be able to write a fix for that too? Thanks for the help.
March 11, 2013 at 12:49 #10010Gavin GoughParticipantHi, further to that last post, it’s actually the category pages which are moving around. See http://www.seedlight.org/category/ethiopia/ and http://www.seedlight.org/category/kenya/.
Thanks.

Sorry about that. Try the code above now and see if that works out better.
