I need a blank page template that does not include any widgets. By default, the widgets are displayed in a sidebar on the page. I’ve tried removing all widgets from the Default Template, but this still leaves a gray space in the sidebar. Is it possible to remove this gray area as well?

Really what I need is a template which has no widgets and no widget area. It does not have to be the default widget. However, all the other templates to choose from will include content like staff lists, podcasts, etc. How could I make a template like this?

    Thanks!

    Hello Robert,

Excellent question there. I decided just to make a new page template that’s called Full Width and update the theme to include it. Once it’s selected, it will give you a template that has no sidebar at all and the content area will fill the entire width. It should show up in your update section soon.

If you have any questions or trouble, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Bill
