    Hi Bill,

I have run out of space on my main navigation menu, which I would like to keep on one line.

As a temporary measure I have shortened ‘Home’ to ‘H’ in the menu section – which doesn’t look great.

However, I have had a brainwave! I would like to use a homepage icon instead (see attached icon). How can I add this CSS class to the existing list?

    Thanks
    Deborah

    Hi Deborah,

Good question. Probably the easiest way to do that would be to use a plugin like Menu Image (https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-image/). It’ll let you add an image to any of your menu items and it says it’ll also hide the text if you need it too. It has good reviews so if it works as advertised, this would likely be the way to go.

    Take care,
    Bill
