    I have 2 feature page widgets and I cant figure out how to get content in them. Help!

    Hello Jim,

    Great question. The image in the featured page widget is the “featured image” of that page. There’s a quick video at http://vimeo.com/60180940 that can walk you through adding a featured image to your page if you need help.

    ok… i got a featured image into the widget but how do i have two images instead of just one. what i have is one image in both the widgets.

    Jim,

    In both widgets, do you have the same page selected or the same featured image set in both pages? If you don’t, can you send over a link to your site so I can take a closer look for you?

    Jim,

    Thank you for sending over the link. It looks like both of the featured page widgets are referring to your home page. That’s why they have the same image and they don’t take you anyplace when the images are clicked.

    What the widget is made to do is to show the featured image to another page on your site.

    If you’ll look in the demo (http://demo.organizedthemes.com/progress/), the widget on the left that has the title “Useful Features.” It pulls the featured image, title and text from the “features” page (http://demo.organizedthemes.com/progress/features/). The other featured page widget pulls its information from the “Custom Styling” page (http://demo.organizedthemes.com/progress/custom-styling/).

    What you’ll want to do is create other pages on your site and then select those pages in your widget from the pages drop-down menu there. That way they will use the featured image from those pages and link your visitors to those pages.

    If you only need an image and don’t need another page/link, then I would suggest using something like the Image Widget plugin. It has a widget that’s just for uploading an image and doesn’t take content from a page.
