How does the Block on the demo Homepage above the Sponsor Links works?

Hi Denis,

I believe that section uses a page content widget. Personally I would suggest using the BlackStudio TinyMCE plugin’s visual editor widget. It adds a widget that uses the same editor as the page/post screen. That makes it a bit easier to do things like insert images and links than the basic text widget does. When I make the next major update to the theme, that plugin will be suggested on activation and I’ll change up the demo to use it too.

The background of the section of the home page is set to use an image. It’s set to cover for the size so that the image will be resized/cropped to always keep that area covered by the image.

The image attachment is set to be fixed so that it doesn’t move as the content around it scrolls.
