Hero Image

Hey Bill!
Another question for you. On the hero image, I noticed that when the browser is smaller, you see more…but as you start putting it on larger screens you see less of the image…so when I pull it up on my larger screen I see about half of it and it just doesn’t look as good…is there a way to keep it to where it adjusts with screen size to where we see more of it?

is a good example. Sometimes I barely see the tops of the Rock life…on smaller screens I see most all the text. I’d like to be able to see the main thing on pretty much every size screen. is this possible?

Hello Micah,

You can use a different image for smaller screens. There’s a post about that at https://support.organizedthemes.com/forums/topic/mobile-use/

That’s really the only viable option.

Hey Bill
I don’t think I was clear. I actually see more of the image when viewing it on smaller screens! When on my little 13″ laptop I see most all the image (which is what I want) but on my larger mac, 25-27″ screen, I don’t see all of it! It’s like it makes the image even larger and I only see the tops of the words.

I’m using the suggested 2000×1200 size.

It’s all related to the aspect ratio of the browser window vs the image. The more similar they are, the more of the image you’ll see. The more different they are, the more cropping there will be. It has to be that way for the background of the hero to be filled with an image.

Yeah makes sense. I think most people will see it fine b/c they won’t be on that large of a screen. I just noticed it on my larger screen! Thanks!
