header images on subpages

Hello,
I had the same question as nzurita on Nov 30, 2012, but I can’t see the full answer to the question. I would like to have the header images on subpages, but these are pages, not posts. Please help.

Carol,

Thank you for your business first of all. You can set the header image on any page or post. When you’re editing a page or post in the right hand column you’ll see a box labeled “format.” In that box choose image. Then down below it, you’ll see another box where you can set a featured image. Use that box to upload or assign an existing image in your media library to be the featured image. Then update or publish your page/post.

That will make the featured image the header image on that page/post for you.
