googe maps plugin

I just tried to use “Pronamic Google Maps” plugin but it clashed with something and the text for the website title stopped showing unless you hovered over it. Ah, the wonders of java script.
Which plugin or method have you used and would you recommend in order to include a fast loading Google map to give customers directions on how to get here?
To be honest, most of the time I’ve just pasted the embed code into either a page or in a text widget vs. using a plugin.
