    My hosting company (GoDaddy) offers a security feature wherein I can add a “safe” seal on my site. However, I am not sure where to paste the following code. I think it probably makes sense to put it in the footer. Could you walk me through how I could go about that?

    [after I posted the message, the script disappeared, and I can’t figure out how to get it to show up. perhaps you can go directly into this entry? The script shows up here.]

    Thanks so much!

    James,

    No problem. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

    1. Go to the Appearance section and select Edit.
    2. From the list of files on your right, choose footer.php and look for this spot:

      </div><!-- Close Wrap -->

      and paste the seal code right above that (make a new line).

    3. Save your changes.

    That should add in the seal for you. If you have any questions, let me know.

    Enjoy your week,
    Bill

    That will disappear if/when I update the theme, right? Just want to make sure I plan accordingly.

    Other than that question, I’m good.

    You’re the best, Bill Thanks a million!

    You’re right there James. When you update the theme, you’ll need to do that again.

    Take care,
    Bill
